What motivates your team?
One of the books that changed the game for me was Drive by Daniel Pink. In his book, Daniel shares the surprising things that motivate people in the workplace. You can learn more about this book through the excellent RSA Animation video below;

The reason this book changed the game for me is that it articulated my own sense of purpose as an Agile Coach. When working with teams and organisations, I use agile principles and values to amplify autonomy, mastery and purpose for individuals.
This theme has long been on my backlog and therefore, retro number #92 in my collection is the Autonomy, Mastery & Purpose Retro

Share as a team what motivates you in the workplace. Create a shared sense of the different things that motivate you as individuals.

Use the prompts around Autonomy, Mastery & Purpose to discover the events or actions that have improved, or lessened the teams sense of Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose.
Pause to identify trends, dot vote on the most important areas to address and identify actions the team can experiment with that seek to improve Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose.
