Autonomy, Mastery, Purpose Retro Template

What motivates your team?

One of the books that changed the game for me was Drive by Daniel Pink. In his book, Daniel shares the surprising things that motivate people in the workplace. You can learn more about this book through the excellent RSA Animation video below;

The reason this book changed the game for me is that it articulated my own sense of purpose as an Agile Coach. When working with teams and organisations, I use agile principles and values to amplify autonomy, mastery and purpose for individuals.

This theme has long been on my backlog and therefore, retro number #92 in my collection is the Autonomy, Mastery & Purpose Retro

Credit to RSA Animate for their visuals featured in this template alongside Faye Tsampardouka who inspired me to use the + and - symbols when creating this template. This template can be used to help teams or organisations to understand what motivates their people. You'll create a shared sense of what improves, or reduces their sense of autonomy, mastery and purpose in the workplace.
