𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 - 𝗗𝗮𝘆 15 - Rockin' around the Christmas tree
On the fifteenth day of Christmas, I'm not really sharing a message about agility at all. This message transcends any approach, or way of working.
Quite simply, be yourself.
Be open and vulnerable with the teams you work with, let them see your personality and embrace it.
It's what makes you who you are.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 - 𝗗𝗮𝘆 16 - Cameras = happier?
On the sixteenth day of Christmas (Very aware I am a little behind)
I once heard that a key indicator of how happy a team is, was 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵.
With our increasingly remote working world, I feel there is another strong signal of whether a team is happy or not.
𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒏
It goes without saying that this isn't a one size fits all situation.
In my experience, the teams with greater psychological safety & who are enjoying their team work, go on camera more often.
𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀;
- Make time for personal interaction in each meeting
- Don't enforce use of cameras, encourage it for those who feel comfortable doing so
- Start small, try just one meeting a week where everyone goes on camera, adjust from there
